List of All McKay/Zelenka: Frienship and Slash Fics/Arts/Vids
Sep. 28th, 2006 | 09:56 am
I'm listing all McKay/Zelenka work I come across. I'm making it for myself to keep track of M/Z.
If the author organizes his/her fics, I'll link to the list instead.
I only put up ratings when it's >= R.
UPDATE: As soon as I saw one M/Z :)
( McKay/Zelenka: Slash )( McKay/Zelenka: Friendship )( McKay/Zelenka: Fan Art )( McKay/Zelenka: Fan Vid )( Misc. )
======================================== =======
Did I miss something here? Broken links? Don't like your work linked? Please let me know. I'll make proper adjustment.

Stargate Atlantis: Recs

Note: I've read many fics, but since I'm a very picky person, most of them, even the ones recced over and over are not of my taste. My favorite kind is meaningful, original, haunting, emotional, and/or stuck-in-my-mind stories. I also like stories that crack me up or feature a snarky Rodney. Sweet or overly romantic fics are not of my taste. I pretty much read every pairing involving McKay, but I'm not too fond of McKay/Sheppard and therefore there are very few fics centered this pairing that I like.

My comments: You do commisions and you may get sued. I've always thought it's wrong to earn money based on others' work unless the work is published in form of fanzines, since it takes money for publishing. Note that I do not mention Japanese doujinshi since 1- the Japanese copyright law is different 2- the djka's work is mostly original 3- they draw doujinshi in the beginning and grow as manga artists later 4- they are honest fans 5- the doujinshi are not too limited 6- Screentones cost a lot in addition to publishing fee 7- Their already printed work may not sale. That's different from an artist who lives off fans. I'm talking about artists such as those in Harry Potter who draw fanart commissions for money (usually more than $10 for a simple sketch of a character not including background but normally $50 and above). I frown upon them. I mean if they're true, professional artist, they should create their own characters. See if they can make THAT much money selling their original work.
I don't feel the need to argue, btw. I'm still too tired from sickness and from the wankiness of recently developed fandoms.

ART: Movie Ron (GoF)
Jul. 15th, 2005 | 09:22 am

Characters: Ron Weasley
Media: Pencil
Rate: G
A/N: I'd not drawn anything for such a while, but when I saw one of GoF screenscaps, I was like "OMG - Ron looks so girly. Must sketch that!!". Honestly, I've never imagined Ron with longish hair, but whatever...
